Dear Jen,

It's getting cooler here now. Our long summer, the longest I can ever remember is coming to a close. Even as today hits 79 and perfectly sunny. I can feel the autumn in the air. The nights are crisp and the days are filled with the cicada's buzz, it's almost deafening when you let yourself think about it. But the cold nights are making me curl up in our fuzzy blankets and fall asleep on the couch way too early. I'm settling into a lazy fall.

Did I tell you my Clara gives me hugs ALL DAY LONG? She says Mama, mama, in the sweetest most loving way and she hugs my neck and snuggles in. This is my favorite age so far... full of voluntary love and affection. Oh my heart melts with love for her.
